RenameClick is an offline-first AI file renamer and organizer for Mac/Windows. It analyzes file content locally (no uploads) to generate clean, descriptive names, then auto-sorts files into folders by category using presets. Comes with 2 presets out of the box, but the real power is custom presets with your own categories. Supports batch processing, multilingual output, custom prompts (instructions), and optional cloud/local LLMs (Ollama, LM Studio).
RenameClick supports metadata-based folder presets that build folder hierarchies from EXIF data (location, camera, lens), file dates, and custom text levels. Users can organize photos by Year/Month/Day, Location/Camera, or other metadata combinations without manual sorting.

Auto Flow watches specified folders and automatically renames, categorizes, and moves new files according to user-defined rules. Each watch row supports custom sorting presets, naming formats, and AI instructions, enabling hands-off organization of incoming files.
The AI reads images, PDFs, and documents to understand their content, then generates meaningful filenames. Users can customize naming with EXIF metadata, date patterns, and custom instructions. All processing happens locally on the device for privacy.
AI Search lets users query files by what they contain or represent (e.g., 'blood test results' or 'project proposal') rather than searching for specific filenames. The search is free for all users and works offline using the local AI model.
